Overview
Stontex Cement Away is a grout and cement stain residue remover for non acid sensitive material. Unique safe acidic formula is very popular with the trade and end user alike.

Where to Use
This product can be used both inside and outside on natural stone, brick and tiles. However do not use on polished limestone, marble or concrete,  You will need a specialist from our network to clean and restore sensitive polished surfaces.

Application and Time

Apply neat or dilute 1 to 3 max, any weaker it will not be very effective. Agitate with a nylon brush, allow to dwell on the surface for a few mins then rinse with water.

Equipment

Hand held pump spray bottle to target application.
Hard bristle nylon brush to agitate.
Power washer / hose to rinse.

Coverage Rate

Approximately 5sqm neat or 15sqm diluted 1 to 1 with water. Coverage depends on how much or how badly the material is stained.

  1. Will this product damage my material? This is a very safe mild acidic cleaner.  Safe to use on most materials except in the case of polished stone and polished concrete.  We recommend a specialist from our network to clean and restore your polished finish.
  2. Is it safe to use? It is a chemical so do not ingest.  Keep away from kids and pets.  The acidic content has special surfactants to make it effective but safe compared to many acidic cleaners on the market.
  3. Should I seal my material after cleaning it? Yes we would recommend to seal with correct sealer specific to your material after its clean and dry.
